Volunteering for BTG

Like any charity most of the hard work is done by willing volunteers, BTG is no different. We are always looking for volunteers. Please remember NONE of these posts pay any wages or, at present, any expenses.

Fundraising

BTG is looking for volunteers who can help raise funds for the Charity. Running the BTG Penpal scheme, for example, costs at least £50 per month, for postage stamps, envelopes etc. In addition, there are administration costs to produce and circulate promotional flyers and application forms etc.

If you or anyone you know would like to assist BTG with fundraising, we would love to hear from you and any ideas or suggestions you may have would be very welcome.

Area/County Reps

We need reps in all areas of the country. Can you represent BTG in your area? Let us know and we can discuss ways to promote the work that BTG does and get some people involved in your area. It would be lovely to get, for instance Penpals in many more areas and maybe to get some fundraising events happening in your community, we just need a handful of willing volunteers – maybe you can help us?
