UK Inmate Brighten up their Day Scheme requests

We do not accept on-line requests for UK inmates. This is because the request MUST come direct from the inmate themselves. We have in the past had a number of hoax requests and wasted quite a bit of time dealing with them, which is unfair to us and our volunteers and taking much needed resources away from our work with the inmates.

However if you know of an inmate in the UK who wants to join the Brighten up their Day Scheme, please complete the request form, to request an information pack to be sent click here.

The pack will contain an Inmate Application form to join the Brighten up their Day Scheme, as well as the rules for the scheme. We also put spares in so that they can pass them onto fellow inmates.

Also included is a letter and an UK Inmate Penpal Application form complete with rules. We will also tell the inmate who requested the information on their behalf. Usually the first name and initial.

Please note:- this form is only for inmates in the UK prisons, DO NOT use this form for prisoners who are abroad. If you do have an inmate who is in a prison abroad, we just need their name, prison number and FULL prison address and we will do the rest.
